Join Davina and Mary for an evening centred around Handel’s 9 German Arias ahead of the launch of their latest album together. Composed between 1724 and 1726 with texts by librettist Barthold Heinrich Brockes, Handel’s cantata-style song cycle explores and celebrates the beauty and order of nature in minute detail. Nestled amongst these beautiful arias will be movements from Handel’s celebrated Opus 1 violin sonatas as well as works by Vaughan Williams and a world premiere by Roxanna Panufnik.
